The Advanced installation type is the preferred installation for a typical production environment:

It is a bit more complex but has the following advantages:

•You can select the folder it will install to.

•It can be installed to any web sites in IIS

•You can freely select the name of the Virtual Directory.

When doing an upgrade to a later build the IIS settings will NOT be removed. Meaning any manual IIS configuration will NOT be lost.
