Field Portal requires the following for the environment it is being installed to:

•Windows 7, 8 or 10 for demo/test use

•Windows Server 2012, 2016 or 2019 for production use

•Minimum 8 GB of memory for production environment. The Field Portal process uses up to 500 MB of memory at run time on average load.

•Microsoft.net 4.7.2 installed and configured.

•IIS with ASP.NET 4.7 installed

•Sage 300 with Service Manager installed and working. A workstation installation of Sage 300 and Service Manager is acceptable. Refer the Release Document for requirements regarding Product Updates.  

•Sage 300 modules required are: GL, AR, AP, and IC.

•Sage 300 .net libraries corresponding to the version of System Manager installed.

•In Sage 300 the Program Directory and Shared Data Directory cannot be configured to use a mapped network drive on the web server, as mapped drives are inaccessible to IIS. Local path (e.g. C:\sage300) or a UNC path (e.g. \\server\sage300) are acceptable.

•It is a requirement that the network/internet connection is reliable and has minimum 3G performance.

•Requires current generation of Smart Phones E.g. not iPhone 3G but phones released in 2011 or later. Field Portal also works on tablets, netbooks or notebooks.

•Requires SQL Server used as Sage 300  database
