Timeout Settings for Field Portal App must be thoroughly thought through as some of these settings are dependent on each other. Please contact Technisoft support for assistance prior to changing these settings.

Connection Timeout (minutes)

This is the length of time Field Portal Server will maintain a connection to Sage 300.

HTTP Timeout (seconds)

Timeout for general HTTP request from App to Server

Sync Timeout (seconds)

Timeout for data Sync HTTP request from App to Server

Ping Timeout (seconds)

Timeout for HTTP request from App to Server which takes place in the background to check connectivity to Server.

Login Timeout (minutes)

When the App is not the current application running, or if the device has gone to sleep, this is the duration of time which will pass before the current Field Portal App screen will be exited and returned to the login screen

Server Polling (seconds)

Frequency for background request to Server to check connectivity
