It is possible to change some fields in Field Portal from English to another Sage 300 supported language.

 

While Field Portal is currently only supported in English there is translation framework which can be used to rephrase most labels, however, drop down lists, error messages and other items contained in the views which have Presentation cannot be changed.

The manual customizations for translation are not compatible on upgrades so will need to be re-applied after updating.

 

To replace English Text with French text, copy the files Metadata.ENG.xml and View.ENG.xml and save them as Metadata.FRA.xml and View.FRA.xml.
