Employee portal has the following limitations:
•It does not have the full feature set of our core Service Manager product
•Each installation of VMEP can only support ONE company. (There is a manual procedure described in the Optional Configuration section of this guide which can be used to support a limited set of selected companies for the same version)
•VMEP Versions 2 and 3 can be installed at the same time, but only ONE instance of the same version can be installed at any one time.
•Ensure users log out or close the browser screen when not using the application to conserve license files and server resources.
•Full functionality can only be expected if an Active Employee record exists with the same ID as the logged in user
•Acceptable performance or stability is not guaranteed if installed on a high load system like a mail server, domain server or terminal server.
•Employee Portal will only work if you have a Service Manger license with an entry called Service Manager Employee Portal Server.
