If Customers are upgrading from the old Customer Portal to the new Customer Portal, it is possible to redirect traffic to the new Customer Portal website by putting on a redirection in IIS.

Select the old Customer Portal website and select HTTP Redirect which will redirect any incoming requests to the new Customer Portal website.
