Parts of the Add Appointment window may or may not be configurable depending on how (which View) the appointment was added.  If a time range within a preselected Employee was chosen then the Resource section in the Add Appointment window will be disabled. If the Resource is enabled, the default resource code will be the user currently logged in but this can be changed.

If the appointment is job related then tick the checkbox to enable the Job Related fields.
