The Location Services feature must be enabled from the Field Connect Configuration tool.  Please refer to the Field Portal Installation guide for more information.

Location Services are supported in Field Portal and can be used for GPS stamping for Site and Equipment locations only or can also provide a form of Employee Location logging.

Site and Equipment records can have their latitude and longitude entered from the Service Manager desktop records or set from within Field Portal.  If Latitude and longitude has been set for the Site or Equipment record then the map address will default to use the latitude and longitude details and not the street address from the record.

The last Employee Location record is stored in Field Portal and accessed through the Employee Location Home menu selection.
