Technisoft Field Portal App is an approved Apple Custom App and is distributed by Technisoft to businesses via the businesses Apple Business Manager account.

 

To enable Field Portal App to be downloaded to iOS devices the business will first need to perform the following steps:

1.Register for an Apple Business Manager Account

2.Sign in to the Apple Business Manager Account

3.Enable Custom Apps from Apple Business Manager

4.Provide Technisoft with the Organization Name and Organization ID

5.'Buy' Field Portal App licenses through the Custom Apps Content section of Apple Business Manager using the 'Redemption Codes' option

Step 1. Register for an Account with Apple Business Manager

If your business has a registered Apple Business Manager account then proceed to Step 2. Sign In

To register your business for an Apple Business Manager Account visit https://business.apple.com/ and click the 'Enrol now' link.

To complete the enrollment process you will require:

•The Business' D-U-N-S number.

Australian Businesses registered with ASIC will automatically be given a D-U-N-S number and can be found by performing a search on this website https://express.illion.com.au/?utm_source=default&utm_medium=301%20Redirect

Businesses in the United States can search for their D-U-N-S number through this website https://www.dnb.com/duns-number/lookup.html

•An email address for the Business not yet associated with an Apple ID. This will become the Administrator email address and login Apple ID for Apple Business Manager.

 

After completing the enrollment form Apple will verify the details and send a notification once the enrollment has been approved.

Step 2. Sign in to Apple Business Manager

Log in to Apple Business Manager https://business.apple.com/ using the Apple Business Manager Apple ID and Password

Step 3. Enable Custom Apps

Select Settings > Enrollment Information and scroll down to Custom Apps.

Click the Enable button

Step 4. Provide Technisoft with the Organization ID

Select Settings > Enrollment Information and refer to Organization Info.

Email technisoft@technisoft.com.au with the Organization Name and Organization ID.

Technisoft will register the Business and provide access to the Custom App.

Step 5. 'Buy' Field Portal App licenses

Select Content > Custom Apps

Click on Field Portal.

Under the Buy Licenses section toggle the License Type to 'Redemption Codes'

Enter the quantity of licenses required and select 'Get'

The License Type of 'Managed' is for businesses who are using the 'MDM' features of Apple Business Manager which include managed Apple ID's, and deployment of Apps and Books to managed devices.

 

Under the Redemption Codes section click Download to generate an .xls (Excel) worksheet containing the redemption codes
