This example outlines the Settings and Workflow for a Job centric business which adds Items and Services directly to the Job and does not use Time Entries at all. The Equipment has multiple Tasks below it but Service and Item lines are added at the Equipment level to cover work on all Tasks.

System Settings:

Typical workflow assumes that the Job is created in advanced and the Field Worker is assigned to the Job.

Services and Items charges are added to the Job directly WHILE the Field Worker is on Site.

Multiple Tasks are added under the Equipment record.

Field Worker syncs data to device. When the Job is opened on the device from the Job Tab, it will look like this (Notice navigation must occur for the Equip, Task and Billing Tabs to be enabled):

Billing Tab changes with navigation. Certain existing Service or Item lines on the Job will be visible.

Select a Task under the Equipment record. The Billing Tab will change to EQ Billing.

Add an Item and Service the EQ Bill. Billing Action Menu.

Once changes are Synced to the Server, the Items and Services are added directly to the Job under the Equipment Line and not under the Task line which was selected from the Content Tab.
