Technisoft Cloud Portal can email a notification to the Primary Customer Contact when specific actions or events occur.

Requirements

The portal database and sage 300 database need to be on same SQL server.

Enable the IIS Application Initialization Module from Server Roles and configure the Portal Application pool Start Mode to Always Running, so notifications can be sent for actions which occur when Technisoft Cloud Portal is not in use.

New Request Confirmation (Send to Request Author)

An email will be sent to the author of the Request as confirmation

Send Email to Primary Contact for Job Types:

Only send emails if the Job was created for one of the specified Job Types.

Use the picker to select the desired Job Types which will trigger sending emails. Leave blank to include all.

Do not Send Email when Document Status is:

Restrict emails from sending when the Document is in one of the specified Statuses.

Use the picker to select the desired Document Statuses which will restrict sending emails. Leave blank to never apply a restriction.

This setting is useful when Documents are being constructed to avoid premature emails being sent with missing information.

Send Email on New Job Creation

An email can be sent when a New Job for the Site is created.

 

The Job must have Response Tracking/Time Entry turned on and be in an Open state

Send Email on New Appointment

An email can be sent when an Appointment for a Job is created.

 

It will only consider the first (lowest NMUNIQ) appointment created for a Job.

 

The Job must have Response Tracking/Time Entry turned on and be in an Open state.

The Estimated stop date must be higher or equal to previous date

Appointment Dispatch state must be 'not required' or 'accepted by assignee'

Send Email When Job Status Changes To:

An email can be sent when the Job Status changes.

or can be refined to only send the email if the Job Status changes to one of the statuses specified.

Use the picker to select the desired Document Statuses which will send emails when the Job is first moved into this Status. Leave blank to trigger sending emails on any Status change for the Job.

Send Email On Job Completion

An email can be sent when the Job is Completed.

Email template is: jobalertcomplete.txt

 

Email Templates can be customized. Refer to the Email Tab for more information.

A log of the emails sent to the Customer, and the reason for triggering the email, are kept in the Notification Log.

 

The email will first see if the current contact has an email address and if not it will fall back to the site email.
