Depending on the customers selected Billing Mode of operation, specified in the Configuration Utility, there are two different Billing views:

Appointment Billing view for companies who require Services and Items to be added to the Time Entry and approved before being added to the Job through the Time Entry retrieval process.

Document Billing view for companies who require Services and Items to be directly added to the Job and not through the Time Entry.

 

There is a Hybrid billing mode available in the Configuration Utility which will allocate Time Actuals to the Time Entry and Services and Items directly to the Job. This mode uses a combination of the Appointment and Document Billing views.

 

The Field Portal interface appears similar regardless of which Billing Mode is specified. Please refer to the Configuration Utility section of the Installation Guide for further information on the Billing Modes and optional settings that can be applied to simplify usage.
